皆様へお知らせがあります。

こんにちわ！　

GION Projectのオーナー、サミー(Sammy Biddle)です。

平素は、Gion(GION Project）を楽しんでいただき、ありがとうございます。

この度、Gion(GION Project）は、2008年11月末を持ちまして、
終了させていただくこととなりました。

昨年、2007年9月29日
京都・祇園をイメージした新感覚総合エンターテインメントSIM、
「ギオン プロジェクト（GION Project)」として誕生しました。

景観ＳＩＭとして、日本テイストあふれる「古き良き日本」をイメージさせる
ＳＩＭとしてＯＰＥＮし、日本ユーザーばかりでなく、海外のユーザーからも
人気を博し、様々なイベントやライブコンサートを通じて、文化交流と出会い
を提供してまいりました。

ここに来て、Gion(GIONProject）は、オープンから1年がすぎその役割を終えました。
サミー(SammyBiddle)も新たなプロジェクトを目指し、再スタートする時期だと決心いたしました。

これまで、Gion(GIONProject）のコミュニティーを通じて、
皆様に出会え一緒に仮想空間を作れたことをとても感謝しております。

また、皆様と再開できることを楽しみにしておりますので
何卒その際は、お引き立ていただきますようよろしくお願いいたします。

尚、サミー(SammyBiddle)より、
GION Projectファンの皆様とのファイナルイベントとして、
「サヨナラGion・フォト・コンテスト」をKoinupとコラボレーションして開催したいと思っています。







是非、皆様とGION Projectの最後の思い出となるアイディアあふれる作品をご応募ください！

応募期間は、10月20日～11月15日
審査発表は、11月20日

Hello everyone. This is Sammy Biddle, the owner of the Gion Project.

I’m very sorry to tell you that the Gion Project will be closed down at the end of this November.

Since its inauguration on September 29, 2007, the Gion Project, a novel entertaining SIM that conjures up the image of the good old days of Japan, has been promoting cultural exchange and providing opportunities to meet new people, which is why it’s popular among not only Japanese residents but also visitors from around the world.

The Gion Project has served its purpose and Sammy Biddle is now ready for a new project. I’m so glad that I was able to meet you through our community and create together a wonderful virtual world. So, I’m looking forward to seeing you all at the new project.

The Gion Farewell Photo Contest

The Gion Farewell Photo Contest will be held from October 20 to November 15. We hope to have as many entries as possible. (Details will be posted on my blog.)
